Our speaker is from the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership and has been able to put into action her desire to create strong community-based organizations as a way to strengthen the presence and positive influence of all individuals.  She believes very strongly in the power of people working together towards a shared vision and inspired by the desire to serve.
    Ms. DeRusha's topics will include Hope, Neighborhood Initiatives and Community Building, all important subjects as our community works toward better educational and work opportunities for all people.  Her message closely parallels the Family Service Society mission to "Encourage, Empower, and Educate indivuals, families, and communities to improve their quality of life."
    Many years of service on local and state boards and commisions has afforded her the ability to share her knowledge and passion.  Luncheon attendees will have a unique opportunity to hear her message and put the information into action in our community.
