![]() Health & Financial - Family Food, Clothing, Housing - Legal - Other Bridges to Health- Bridges to Health is an all volunteer clinic to provide primary healthcare to individuals and families who lack adequate resources and to provide educational services to empower those individuals and families to lead healthier lives in the Grant County Community. Carey Services- Carey Services was established in 1954 through the efforts of parents of persons with disabilities and concerned citizens of our communities. Supports and services are determined through person-centered planning, whereby consumers and their families direct the planning and allocation of resources to meet their own individual life goals. Crisis Pregnancy Center- Crisis Pregnancy Center provides services to mothers and fathers who need assistance during and after their pregnancy. They offer various services such as: free pregnancy tests, education about pregnancy, child development, and parenting, post-abortion support, and education about how to express sexuality in a healthy way. Family Social Service Administration (FSSA)- FSSA is in charge of administering Food Stamps, TANF, and Mediaid. To apply for assistance, check the status of an application, make a change, or see if you are eligible for services, follow the link. Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP)- HIP is for uninsured Hoosier adults between the ages of 19-64. For more information and eligibility requirements follow the link. Hoosier Healthwise- The Hoosier Healthwise Program is a health care program for low income families, pregnant women, and children.Marion General Hospital- MGH is a non-profit hospital that operates under the auspices of a 15-member board of directors. With a dedicated, qualified and professional hospital and auxiliary staff of more than 1,300, we are teamed with more than 100 physicians from multiple specialties to meet the needs of our healthcare community. Together, with a focus on 100-percent customer satisfaction, we work to fulfill our mission to be the first choice for healthcare services and to promote wellness in our region. First Candle- First Candle/SIDS Alliance is a national nonprofit health organization uniting parents, caregivers and researchers nationwide with government, business and community service groups to advance infant health and survival. With help from a national network of member and partner organizations, we are working to increase public participation and support in the fight against infant mortality. Angel Food Ministries- Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief and contributing to benevolent outreaches in communites throughout the United States. This is a great way to get quality food and save money at the same time. Angel Food has several locations in the Marion area and is open to anyone. Food stamps are also an accepted form of payment. St. Martin Community Center- St. Martin Community Center is a source of assistance in the community by providing hot nutritious meals, pantry food, clothing, medicine and support. Salvation Army- The Salvation Army, for over a hundred years, has supported Grant County residents by providing needed programs and services to assist in times of crisis, emergency, and despair. Every year thousands of Grant County residents benefit by some assistance program or service of The Salvation Army. They offer assistance with food, rent & utilities, transportation, prescriptions, furniture & clothing, lodging, disaster relief, and other needs as funding is available. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)- CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to watch over and advocate for abused and neglected children, to make sure they don’t get lost in the overburdened legal and social service system or languish in an inappropriate group or foster home. They stay with each case until it is closed, and the child is placed in a safe, permanent home. For many abused children, their CASA volunteer will be the one constant adult presence—the one adult who cares only for them. First Light Child Advocacy Center- First Light is a place where people, children, and caring come together. The center provides a location for members of a multi-disciplinary team to come together and perform a forensic interview of a child who is alleged to be a victim of abuse or neglect. The objective is to provide a quick, professional response by law enforcement, child protection services and the prosecutor's office to a case, so the trauma to the child can be minimized and an appropriate course of action to the specific case can be charted expeditiously. Since first opened its doors, February 16, 2004 the center has served well over 1200 children. First Light has regionalized our services and now also serve Wabash, Blackford and Miami county children. Pro

Grant
County Bar Association and District 6 Access to Justice, Inc. recognize
that our system of justice is founded on the principle that all persons
should be treated fairly and equally. Yet they
also recognize that not all Community Partners for Child Safety- Successfully launched in the 1990's in five states and has been in Indiana since 2000. Community Partners is now available in all 92 counties. The program offers a free and voluntary, in-home visitation program. Community liaisons (case managers) assist families in developing specific family centered goals to reduce stress and help find the balance in life.
