Arthur Kupersmith, PhD
Dr. Arthur Kupersmith earned his Masters in Personality and Social Psychology and Doctoral Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin/Madison. He has been an Indiana Licensed Psychologist since 1978 and a licensed Health Service Provider Psychologist since 1982. With nearly 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Kupersmith specializes in assessments, serious mental illnesses, geropsychology, and disabilities.
Melody Marley, Ph.D.
Dr. Melody Marley joined our staff in 2016. She brings a deep level of psychological, clinical practice, academic classroom experience and a broad array of specific real-world and leadership skills to her practice, including board positions, professional affiliations and American Sign Language proficiency.

Ed earned his Master’s in Clinical Social Work from University of Maryland and has 36 years of clinical practice. Brett Boswinkle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and CSAYC. Brett attained a B.S. from Ball State University and a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. He has 7 years of Bachelor’s level experience and received his Master’s in 2009. Brett’s areas of expertise include Sexually Maladaptive Behaviors, Severe Behavior Disorders, and Trauma-Based Disorders.

Katie Jones graduated from Anderson University with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2005. In 2011, Katie earned her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. Katie is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Credentialed Sexually Abuse Youth Clinician (CSAYC).

Karisa Vandenventer, MA-School Based Counselor. Karisa has served in mental health for over six years. Formally, Karisa served as a Mental Health Technician at a central Indiana hospital and as Coordinator for a Mentoring Incarcerated Parents Program in a neighboring county. Karisa currently conducts therapeutic services in small groups and individually to students at Mississinewa Community Schools. Karisa earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Addictions Counseling.

Deborah graduated from Indiana University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Working with children, couples, and families, she specializes in anxiety and depression, abuse and trauma issues, and problems with life transitions. She has been employed at Family Service Society for 18 years.

Maria Wilson recently joined the Family Service Society’s as its Director of Education Services/Therapist. Maria has served children and families in both the private and public sectors for the past twenty years. Formally, Maria served as the Practice Program Manager for the Indiana Department of Child Services under Governor Daniels’ Administration.
